I'm still waiting for my turbo.  Nothing major has changed from the last post.  I can't believe that I forgot to post up my new rides?  I bought the blue 1985 Toyota MR2.  I wasn't very keen on the color at first but now it's really grown onto me.  I don't think I've seen another blue MR2 like this one ever so the color will remain.  When I first bought her she was a bit messy BUT the body was straight and it had little rust compared to the other MR2's on the road here in MN.

Here are the mods she came with

- underbody has been coated - Max Illegal Garage cluthkit 200mm
- oem inner-outer tierods front&rear 1 yr old - TRD LSD 1.5 way (clutch type) ONE year old
- (some other arm and strut rod in the rear is 1 yr old also) replaced 1 yr ago - oem strut bar
- Tokico Blues with Eibach springs 2 yrs old - performance brakepads from Twos-R-Us 1 yr old
- poly bushing all around - Napa rotors 1 yr old
- balljoints 1 yrs old - new ebrake cables this past winter
- wheel bearings all around 1 yr old - Max Power intake mod
- engine rebuilt 1.5 yrs old - straight pipe exhaust
- has about 160k miles now - Suspension Tech swaybars with rear endlink
- MR-S wheels - Twos-R-Us front endlinks
- aftermarket camber bolts adj - cd player and self-made cheap sub connected to factory amp

1985 Toyota MR2 AKA Mr. Deamon.  Nice color huh? Rusty Valence.  Good practice for some body restoration.

Clean hood but the emblem flew off (recovered) while I was driving. Pretty straight body panels.
There's some rust but nothing out of the ordinary for a 20+yr. automobile. You can see some paint bubbling.  BAD!  Cancer at work there...

Awesome bondo job by someone. Pull the dent and clean her good.

I got a lil' too carried away and got this next doozy yesterday.

~*GASP*~ 1987 Toyota MR2 AKA Mittens. Clean white body.

Original color but I suspect not the original paint. No rust.

Beautiful huh? So fresh and so clean!

MMmmm... The ONLY flaw I saw in this MR2...

Just as clean on the other side. The white is so bright!

Yin and Yang...  Mr. D please meet Mittens...

So what's in store?  Mr. Deamon will get a nice restoration job and Mittens will probably recieve the 1.5 treatment. I'm going to drop in a 3sgte in her, upgrade the brakes, suspension and make a nice lil' autocross/ciruit car/touge machine out of her.
